Welcome to Glass Houses and Ivory Towers! I’m so glad you’re here. Let me tell you a little about myself and why I started this podcast.

 

I created this space with a simple but profound goal: to make room for voices. Voices that inspire, challenge, and connect us. Voices that deserve to be heard, especially in a world where it can sometimes feel like our words don’t matter. Glass Houses and Ivory Towers is my way of carving out space for conversations—fun ones, serious ones, random ones—and everything in between. It’s a place to ask questions, share opinions, and make sure no empty spaces remain where voices should be.

 

As for me, I’m a lover of creativity and curiosity. I write poetry, sing, and dabble in art. I’ve always dreamed of doing theater—though the thought of stepping on stage might just make me pass out! I’m also an avid traveler, and of course, my dogs, Max and Leo, are the stars of my life.

But beyond the fun facts, I’m deeply passionate about uplifting marginalized voices, particularly women. Women of all backgrounds—Black women, Latina women, White women—deserve to stand confidently in their convictions, embrace curiosity, and engage with the world as equal and essential participants. That’s my mission and my purpose, and it drives everything I do.

As a wife and mother, I’ve worked to create space for my children to find and use their voices, and this podcast is an extension of that—a way to bring my life, purpose, and vision into alignment. I don’t have all the answers, but I’m here to ask questions, start conversations, and create a platform where all voices are welcome.
